Do Video Games Encourage Violence?
Because of the research of David Walsh, Ph.D., president of the National institute on Media and the Family in Minneapolis, there is a group now preparing to sue the maker of the game trying to prove that there is a direct link between the murder and playing the game.
Article quotes Army Lieuteenant Colonel Dave Grossman, director of Killology Research Group, an Arkansas-based company that studies the cause and effect of violent behavior as saying the Army uses these games to train soldiers to have a "conditioned reflex to kill"
Article shows many studies that have been done now linking TV and Video Game violence to anger and agressivness in children.
WalMart, KMart and Target all now have policies now to NOT sell violent M-rated (Mature) games to teens under 17.
